On Saturday, October 25, 2025, two of the Bay Area’s most impactful college access events — the UC Berkeley Showcase and College Information Day — are coming together for the first time to launch a powerful new experience: College Information Day at UC Berkeley.

Co-hosted by UC Berkeley and the East Bay Consortium, this fall open house invites middle school, high school, and college transfer students, their families, counselors, and community partners to campus for a comprehensive and inspiring introduction to college planning, admissions, and student life.

With an emphasis on access and college readiness, the event features:

Interactive campus walking tours
Faculty- and staff-led sessions
Student performances and panels
Dedicated family workshops

Together, we aim to equip students with the information, support, and inspiration they need to confidently pursue higher education.

College Information Day at UC Berkeley Event Schedule

8 - 11 a.m. Check-in
Start your day by checking in to receive event information and your College Information Day at UC Berkeley bag.
9 a.m. - 1 p.m. College Fair
Meet representatives from the California State University (CSU) and University of California (UC) systems, as well as private and out-of-state universities. Learn about academic programs, admission requirements, campus life, and scholarship opportunities—all in one place.
9 a.m. - 1 p.m. Resource Fairs
Explore UC Berkeley’s academic departments, student clubs and organizations, campus resources, and opportunities that support student success.
9 a.m. - 4 p.m. Cash for College
Financial aid experts and volunteers will provide drop-in support with FAFSA and Dream Act applications for high school seniors and community college students.
9 a.m. - 4 p.m. Campus Tours
Take a one-hour walking tour of campus with a student ambassador. Learn about UC Berkeley’s history, academics, student life, and more!

10 - 11:15 a.m. Breakout Session #1
Choose from a variety of sessions designed to guide you through admissions, financial aid, student life, and more.
11:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. Spirit Rally
Enjoy a high-energy midday rally with student performances, spirit groups, and campus leaders. Get energized and inspired for the exciting sessions, tours, and activities still ahead.
12:30 - 1 p.m. Lunch
Take a break and grab lunch at one of the on-campus cafés or explore the many dining options in downtown Berkeley before heading to your afternoon sessions.
1 - 2:15 p.m. Breakout Session #2
Choose from a variety of workshops and panels designed to help you explore the admissions process, financial aid, student life, and academic opportunities.
2:30 - 3:45 p.m. Breakout Session #3
Wrap up the day with another round of interactive workshops and panels. Sessions will cover a range of topics on preparing for and thriving in college.
4 p.m. Event Concludes
